Activity 16: Become Assertive

Objectives:

  • To understand assertiveness and how assertive person operates;
  • To improve one’s own emotional vocabulary and expressions;
  • To encourage positive expressions of own thoughts and feelings;
  • To see the difference between assertive and aggressive expressions.

Duration: 60 minutes

Group size: Individual activity, can be adapted also to the larger groups.

Material: Handouts, paper, pens, flipchart, poster
