Activity 20: Micro-aggression & Language Interpretation

Objective: Participants will learn to identify micro-aggressions and will be able to reflect on how they can modify questions or comments in ways that are less likely to reflect stereotypic assumptions and beliefs.

Duration: 60 – 90 minutes

Group size: 8 – 12 (could be modified for larger group by having participants work in groups)

Material: Handouts, paper, makers and pens
