Ask learners to name one or two micro-aggressions they commonly see in their lives. Ensure participants pick actual micro-aggressions.
Alternatively, a pre-created scenario can be given.
After selecting the scenario, have participants form two (hassle) lines, where they pair up and face each other. One person in the line will be the speaker, or the person making the remark. The person facing him or her will be the respondent, or the person refuting or responding.
Practice with a single scenario. Take a moment to process your thoughts, feelings, and reactions.
